In secret video footage obtained by Project Veritas, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed that the reason behind the blacklisting of then-President Donald Trump was that Zuckerberg thought Trump was undermining the transition of power in his last days in office.
“It’s so important that our political leaders lead by example, make sure we put the nation first here, and what we’ve seen is that the president [Trump] has been doing the opposite of that,” Zuckerberg said during a meeting with Facebook executives. “The president [Trump] intends to use his remaining time in office to undermine the peaceful and lawful transition of power.”
When Zuckerberg blocked Trump from posting on Facebook for an indefinite period of time, he claimed that it was because Trump’s rhetoric was dangerous and that he incited the January 6 riot at the Capitol.
It now appears that Zuckerberg used the riot to justify his actions, but that he had ulterior motives for censoring and blacklisting Trump.
In other videos secretly recorded, Zuckerberg also expressed dismay that the Capitol rioters were treated better than BLM, even though a Capitol rioter was shot and killed by Capitol police.
