The Atlantic is already doing damage control on their “Losers and Suckers” story and has claimed that Fox News has confirmed the story’s anonymous claims.
Fox News national security correspondent Jennifer Griffin sent out a series of tweets attempting to bolster the claims of The Atlantic but ultimately failed to provide solid sourcing.
Despite bringing up out of context statements, that have been brought up for years, Griffin was unable to confirm that President Trump had referred to dead American soldiers as “losers” and “suckers.”
Griffin also claimed two officials in the Trump administration could confirm the story but that flies in the face of dozens of officials who have come out to deny the story.
Former National Security Advisor John Bolton came forward to deny the story, and he has spent the last year attacking President Trump.
The Atlantic, by publishing unfounded stories designed solely to harm President Trump, can safely take its place next to CNN as “fake” news.
