Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) was just completely humiliated. She has been devastated in public for her self-serving political grandstanding. It is over.
According to Breitbart News, a recent poll showed that “Cheney’s unfavorable rating currently stands at 65 percent with a net image of -36 percent” in her home state of Wyoming.
But there’s a high likelihood that Cheney won’t even make it out of a Republican primary. According to the same poll, “52% of GOP primary voters would vote against her regardless of who challenges her” in the 2022 election.
All the money in the world can’t save Cheney’s political future. Months have passed since the 2020 election, and she is still taking every chance she can get to bash former President Donald Trump and divide the party.
Cheney’s antics have become so disqualifying, in fact, that Republican leaders are souring on her. Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) is now poised to replace Cheney as the House Republican Conference chair.
Stefanik has struck an entirely different tone, saying that she is “committed to being a voice and sending a clear message that we are one team and that means working with the president.”
