White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany was just kicked out and millions of people across the nation are completely shocked. No one expected this to happen with less than 20 days before the November election.
“‘Twitter has locked the personal account of White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany for sharing news Democrats don’t like,’ said the Trump War Room, an official account run by the Trump 2020 campaign,” reported Breitbart News.
You heard that right. After McEnany tweeted an article from the New York Post — a publication started in 1801 and founded by Alexander Hamilton, no less — Twitter promptly froze her account for violating the “Twitter Rules.”
McEnany had the apparent gall to share the Post’s “bombshell story about leaked material indicating Joe Biden met with an executive at Burisma while he was Vice President and while his son was employed by the company.”
Her account was eventually restored, but the damage was already done — and Twitter could be bracing for major action by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) made this clear on the social media platform.
“My message for big tech oligarchs is simple: winter is coming,” Cotton tweeted. “We need to strip away the immunity that section 230 gives these companies.” It appears FCC Chairman Ajit Pai intends to do just that very soon.
