Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), who was chosen Tuesday as Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden’s running mate, demanded in a letter in October 2019 that Twitter ban President Donald Trump from the site for violating its terms of service.
Harris said that Trump made a “blatant threat” against the whistleblower who filed a complaint against him over a phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Somehow, she interpreted the following tweet as a threat: “Like every American, I deserve to meet my accuser, especially when this accuser, the so-called ‘Whistleblower,’ represented to a perfect conversation with a foreign leader in a totally inaccurate and fraudulent way.”
Does “meet my accuser” denote a threat or violence, as Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) also suggested?
Something tells me Harris will not be any friend to free speech if she makes it into office.
