Despite requests for comment, Vice President Kamala Harris has remained silent on the sexual harassment allegations against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D).
A third allegation against Cuomo came out on Monday, accusing the governor of asking to kiss a young woman at a wedding and holding her face in his hands.
Anna Ruch decried Cuomo’s “physical dominance” over her in the allegation, saying she didn’t have a choice in that moment as Cuomo touched her back and face without her permission.
Harris has made much in the past of saying she believes women who come forward with allegations of sexual harassment or misconduct, especially by powerful men.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki did not say whether Harris or President Joe Biden would comment on the allegations, but said the women should be treated with respect.
