Vice President Kamala Harris is now one of the least popular vice president since the 1970s, according to two new polls.
The polls had Harris’s approval at 46%, with 47% and 48% disapproving, respectively. That gives her a -1 to -2 rating.
Most vice presidents since 1970 have had at least a 50% approval rating, with a much lower percentage disapproving.
Even Vice President Mike Pence was not underwater with voters; although his approval rating was lower at 42,1% at this point in his term, his disapproval was even lower at 41.9%.
In a YouGov poll, Harris was even more underwater with younger voters ages 18 to 29, 41% of which had an unfavorable view of her while only 36% had a favorable view.
