A new Group/Convention of States Action survey showed that 75% of likely voters, including most Democrats, believe that Vice President Kamala Harris has done a “poor” job handling the southern border.
About three-quarters, 74.9%, rated Harris “poor” on dealing with the border. Among Democrats, 54.6% said Harris was doing a “poor” job.
Independents also overwhelmingly rated her “poor,” with 80.3% answering that way.
“Despite being in the midst of a border crisis this country has not seen in two decades, Vice President Harris has not yet shown adequate interest in observing this crisis first-hand,” a number of House Republicans wrote about Harris in a letter asking President Joe Biden to replace her in her role on the border.
If they could, Biden and Harris would institute amnesty for illegal immigrants as part of a massive $3.5 trillion spending proposal even as thousands cross the border on a daily basis.
