Vice President Kamala Harris has finally come out of hiding and is heading to California to campaign for embattled Governor Gavin Newsom.
The Vice President has been non-committal about campaigning for Newsom, but that is changing as she will travel to California sometime in the next week.
The recall election will be held on September 14th, and while Newsom is favored to survive, it is going to be closer than Democrats want.
Governor Newsom has done a lot to anger Californians, and he will need just a little help to survive the recall election and keep a Republican out of Sacramento.
One big question that has popped up for Newsom is if he really wants Vice President Harris campaigning for him.
Vice President Harris is an extremely unpopular figure right now, and her presence could draw negative press for Governor Newsom. Democrat strategists may be wondering whether Harris will do more damage than good for Governor Newsom.
