Vice President Kamala Harris continued Thursday to make wild claims about what will happen if Roe V. Wade is overturned and abortion law decisions are sent back to the state level.
If Roe is overturned, it will be “an extreme step backward, and it represents a threat not just to women, but to all Americans.”
She claimed that the basis of the ruling, the right to privacy, is the same reasoning used to “protect the right to use contraception and the right to marry the person you love, including a person of the same sex.”
“Overturning Roe opens the door to restricting those rights,” she said.
Not only did Justice Alito specifically say in the leaked draft opinion that the abortion ruling would not apply to other cases like Obergefell V. Hodges, the ruling that legalized gay marriage, but Harris is beyond childbearing age and according to the logic of the left, shouldn’t even be commenting on abortion since she can’t bear a child.
