Kamala Harris and her husband gave only 1.1% of their income to charity in 2019, according to tax returns recently released by the Biden-Harris campaign.
The couple gave $35,390 to several universities and a suicide prevention organization out of $3,095,950 in taxable income.
Harris and her attorney-husband Douglas Emhoff had much more earned income than Joe and Jill Biden, who gave 1.5% of their income to charity.
President Donald Trump and Mike Pence have not released their tax returns, and the last returns released by Pence showed that he and his wife Karen gave 8% of their income to charity in 2015.
Trump has donated his entire salary of $400,000 per year to various organizations.
