Joy Behar, co-host of ABC’s “The View,” was humiliated by Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) during Blackburn’s appearance “The View” on Thursday.
Behar claimed that former President Barack Obama left the U.S. a budget surplus and President Trump wiped that out, putting the U.S. into an economic deficit.
Senator Blackburn responded saying, “We weren’t left with a surplus. There was not a surplus. Excuse me. During — when President Bush left office our national debt was at $10 trillion, and when Obama left office, it was over $22 trillion.”
Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden increased the deficit by $12 trillion dollars yet Biden and the left have the audacity to claim there was a surplus when they left office.
Behar’s response was typical of someone caught in a blatant lie. Behar said, “The economy is now in the toilet. The economy is now in the toilet. People are out of work. Children are not eating, madam. How can you brag about his administration? There are hungry children out there! All right.”
All the left has is questionable rhetoric that cannot be backed up with any proof and emotional appeals.
