Florida Governor Ron Desantis (R) called out President Biden for portraying himself as a tough guy for standing up to Vladimir Putin while also groveling to dictators in Iran and Venezuela for oil.
President Biden has portrayed Putin as a “dictator,” and as such must be opposed. Of course, other dictators like Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela and Ali Khamenei of Iran are no concern to the Biden administration.
Of course, Governor DeSantis hasn’t let this hypocrisy slide and said on Friday that “So you say you don’t want to do with Putin because he’s a dictator. Fine. I’m all for that. But then don’t turn around and go to Maduro, who has committed all kinds of atrocities.”
Governor DeSantis pointed out how President Biden has “kneecapped” American energy production and he needs to fix that instead of legitimizing evil dictators responsible for gross human rights violations.
Governor DeSantis continued saying, “We have a number of Venezuelan Americans, who, like many Americans and, I know, a lot of Floridians, are very angered by the Biden administration’s recent attempt to legitimize the brutal Maduro regime in Venezuela.”
