A new Quinnipiac poll shows President Joe Biden’s job approval rating at 37%, while 52% disapproved. His personal approval numbers weren’t much better at 38%, with 50% disapproval.
Biden has suffered from lower numbers since botching the military withdrawal from Afghanistan, and as problems at the border and with the economy have gotten worse.
The same poll showed that most Republicans still support former President Donald Trump; 78% of said they want to see Trump run for president again, 12% more than the 66% who said the same in May.
Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy did note that half of all Americans polled think that Trump hurt Democracy during his presidency.
But compared to the disaster Biden’s presidency has become, Trump is starting to look good to more and more people.
