President Joe Biden skipped going to church on Christmas, opting to view Mass virtually in a stark departure from Christmas traditions for the First Family.
The White House has yet to issue a statement on Biden’s decision to skip church.
The President and his family regularly attend Mass making the decision to skip out on the Christmas tradition even stranger.
It is possible the First Family skipped attending Mass as the President recently came into “close contact” with a staffer who tested positive for coronavirus.
Despite skipping the traditional Christmas service, the Biden family still issued a statement saying, “On behalf of our family, we wish a merry Christmas to everyone in the United States and around the world who is celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and the promise of hope and renewal.”
It is little surprise that the Biden administration is taking every precaution to avoid the spread of coronavirus. Nonetheless, throwing tradition out the window isn’t going to sit well with many Americans.
