President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Tracy Stone-Manning once edited a newsletter for a radical environmental group that committed acts of eco-terrorism and advocated violence against government officials.
Stone-Manning’s own testimony admitted to her involvement with the newsletter for a local Earth First! chapter, the Wild Rockies Review, in the 1980s and 90s.
She advocated tree-spiking, which could damage logging equipment and injure workers. She also is credited with “assistance” on an issue that contained an article advocating letting houses burn in wildfires because they were build due to “poor construction decisions.”
Does Biden really think this woman should represent the BLM or any agency of the government, given her avowed views?
She should never be confirmed, and I hope at least one Democrat will vote against her to block her nomination.
