Even in New Hampshire, most voters don’t approve of President Joe Biden and worry about immigration and its effects on the country.
In the May 25-26 survey, 57% disapproved of Biden’s job performance, while just 39.3% approved.
Immigration and border security were labeled an important issue by 75% of the state’s voters, and their concerns included terrorists, criminals and drugs coming into the country, along with schools and public welfare being strained and illegal immigrants taking job from legal citizens.
Republicans want to expand Title 42 to allow illegal immigrants to be expelled due to participation in the drug trade, particularly fentanyl which has killed many through overdoses.
“We desperately need Title 42 to fight this drug epidemic,” Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) stated. “It’s a tool that would quite literally save American lives in every state in the union immediately.”
