The New York Times predictably blamed Americans for high gas prices Friday, saying they are not doing enough to drive less and use less gasoline.
Prices hit $4.62 a gallon on Memorial day and are expected to exceed $6.00 by the end of the summer.
“Motorists have not done much to burn a lot less gasoline,” the Times wrote.
Of course, the newspaper totally ignored President Joe Biden’s “war on energy” that has cut production even as world sources have been cut off, such as Russian oil.
Maybe if Democrats would take responsibility for the energy crisis and reverse course on their green energy hopes, even temporarily, they could salvage the midterms. But they won’t.
