If I was the White House, I wouldn’t have responded for comment on this one either, because the only way to describe this is “not a good look.”
In fact, if this is some sort of an attempt at a political statement, it shows how much America changed over the course of Donald Trump’s presidency as this isn’t even something we saw out of Barack Obama. Even Obama attended the annual Rolling to Remember motorcycle rally on Memorial Day.
Donald Trump cared so deeply about this tradition, so it makes sense that Biden would squash it.
Last year, Trump pulled out all the stops and demanded a small group of AMVET riders were able to participate in the rally in order to represent the thousands of riders that showed up on a typical year.
It was on that day that President Trump invited them back in 2021. “I appreciate that you’re here, we’re here for you and I told you when you’re ready to come back with your 600,000, we’re ready to take you,” Trump said.
But Biden apparently doesn’t care about our veterans as much as Trump does, so it’s no wonder the White House declined comment on this one.
