A Monday Harvard CAPS-Harris poll showed that former President Donald Trump would win in a hypothetical 2024 matchup between him and President Joe Biden, if that election were held today.

Trump leads Biden by six points in the poll, with 47% saying they would vote for Trump and 41% for Biden.

The gap is even bigger if Trump faces Vice President Kamala Harris, with 49% voting for Trump in that matchup, and only 38% for Harris.

An NBC News poll showed that 71% of Americans think the country is going in the wrong direction under Biden.

Republicans are beginning to discuss impeachment proceedings against Biden if they get the majority in Congress in the midterms later this year.
