Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden just forced a stunning reversal in a key state. Republicans are cheering now — the upcoming election may have been decided before the polls even close.
New Mexico, a reliably “blue” state, would be hurt by Biden’s promise to end fracking and “transition” away from American oil. Rep. Xochitl Torres Small (D-NM) has even distanced herself from Biden as she faces a Republican challenger.
“I disagree with VP Biden’s statement tonight,” said Torres Small. “Energy is part of the backbone of New Mexico’s economy.” However, Biden’s carelessness may have cost her the election and even put New Mexico itself in play.
Torress Small’s opponent, Yvette Herrell, appeared on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Saturday and made it clear that the Democrat can’t run from her party’s nominee or its radical, anti-America platform.
“The only reality in this entire scenario is Xochitl Torres Small is out of touch with reality,” said Herrell, noting that the Democrat incumbent “voted to allow future presidents to ban fracking” and “voted to rejoin the Paris Climate Accord Agreement.”
Simply put, Torress Small talks a big game — like she is looking out for the interests of energy jobs in New Mexico — but she has been a rubber stamp from Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s agenda. She may lose come November 3.
