A new Trafalgar Group poll found that President Joe Biden’s approval rating has taken a sudden dip in May and is now 47.5%.
Only a month ago in April, Gallup had Biden’s approval rating at 57%, which shows a 9.5% drop in just a few weeks.
The Gallup poll noted that the average approval rating for a president’s first quarter is 61%, and historically the average overall approval rating from 1938 on is 53%.
Biden is way behind most other presidents, with former President Donald Trump being a notable exception.
Trafalgar Group is ranked as more accurate in its polling than Gallup by FiveThirtyEight, which rates pollsters.
