Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden just fell apart. The former vice president’s failing campaign is completely humiliated — not even his top advisors expected this to happen with less than 10 days until the election.
“[I] can send every single qualified person to a four-year college in their state for $150 billion,” said Biden on 60 Minutes. However, even host Norah O’Donnell noticed a major discrepancy in his claim.
“The nonpartisan Tax Policy Center and others have questioned whether Joe Biden’s corporate minimum tax plan would raise as much money as he estimates,” said O’Donnell. Then, she dropped an even bigger bombshell.
Biden’s campaign contacted her shortly after the story and said that he “misspoke.” In reality, the cost of “free college” — nothing is free, of course, but that’s another matter — “could be twice as much.”
This is typical Biden. He can’t remember simple facts and figures, forcing his campaign to repeatedly cover for him. Yet, somehow, Democrats are pushing the 47-year career politician as the answer to all of our problems.
Most voters are going to buy it. On November 3, President Donald Trump will be reelected to a second term — shocking the political establishment a second time. By this time next week, history will be made (again).
