A plurality of likely voters think President Joe Biden’s first 100 days have been a failure, according to a new poll by Rassmussen.
More voters, 44%, said his presidency had been a failure so far than thought it had been a success (36%) or something in between (18%).
Almost three-quarters of Republicans thought Biden’s presidency has been a failure, while 67% of Democrats thought it had been a success. Only 26% of Independents thought Biden had been a success so far, a dismal statistic.
A plurality of survey respondents also said they thought Biden had been a “worse” president than they expected, with 39% saying so and only 26% saying they thought he had been better than expected.
Looks like it’s going to be a long four years, since poll numbers usually fall after the first 100 day “honeymoon period.”
