Breitbart News editor-in-chief Alex Marlow discussed Google’s recent algortithm changes with Fox News on Wednesday that have resulted in a 99.7% drop in the outlet’s search results since May.
Marlow said Breitbart had looked at the top 50 publishers of online news, and eight out of the bottom 10 in search engine results are conservative or right-leaning news sources, including Fox News.
Breitbart’s overall Google traffic was also down two-thirds from what it had been before the 2016 election.
Marlow also said that Google has not provided any real reasons for the algorithm change: “They only provide vague talking points about things that are way out of our control, that are non-specified, that are totally subjective.”
As both Tucker Carlson and Marlow pointed out, the changes have everything to do with the 2020 election and trying to stamp out conservative news reporting so the left can increasingly control the narrative about all the issues.
