Former vice-president and current Presidential hopeful Joe Biden just admitted the truth about the recently surfaced sexual harassment allegations.
Former Nevada Assemblywoman Lucy Flores just came forward this week with accusations of Biden kissing her without consent.
Biden responded by denying that he did anything wrong. He did admit that he’s offered “countless expressions of affection” in his many years in public life but never believed that he “acted inappropriately.”
Lucy Flores pointed out several other incidents in which Joe Biden made other women feel uncomfortable throughout the years. These examples included “Biden nuzzling the neck of the Defense secretary’s wife; Biden kissing a senator’s wife on the lips; Biden whispering in women’s ears; Biden snuggling female constituents.”
Biden notably did not deny that the incident happened, just that he didn’t “recall these moments the same way,” and admitted that he was “surprised” by what he heard.
Biden finished his statement by saying that men should “pay attention” to women when they come forward with “their experiences.” However, he never offered an apology for causing Lucy Flores extreme discomfort. Biden may choose to “listen” to complaints, but shows no signs of any intentions to change his behavior.
