Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said a female Biden staffer stopped him from taking video of a migrant children’s detention facility in Donna when he visited there with other lawmakers over the weekend.
Cruz showed video of the staffer blocking his view on Fox News Sunday Morning Futures.
As he tried to film, she said, ““Please give dignity to the people. Please give dignity to the people.” She also said, “Please don’t treat the people as such.”
He explained that the Donna facility was built to house 1,000 people, but was supposed to have a capacity of 250 during COVID. Instead, there are now 1,500 people there.
“In that facility, children are testing positive for COVID at roughly a 10% rate,” he also said.
