Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden was just completely busted. The former vice president has been caught red-handed and his campaign could be over — he shouldn’t have invoked the Supreme Court.
“And by the way, there’s no Court session between now and the end of this election,” Biden said, opposing a prompt replacement for the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg by claiming that the Court won’t meet before the election.
But here’s the kicker: the Supreme Court has a session every October. Unsurprisingly, Biden decided to pop off without knowing the facts and now he has made a fool of himself again. But that isn’t the only lie he told.
“Biden falsely said today that ‘it’s no wonder” the Trump campaign asked him to release a list of prospective Supreme Court nominees “only after she passed away — it’s a game for them,” reported CNN’s Daniel Dale on Twitter.
“Not true,” Dale continued. “The Trump camp had repeatedly asked prior to Ginsburg’s death.” First of all, let’s just take a moment to appreciate that someone from CNN decided to be honest — that it s a miracle in and of itself.
Even more important, however, is that Biden was caught in two bald-faced lies with 42 days until the November election. President Donald Trump’s campaign is going to have a field day with Biden’s comments, and rightly so.
