Analyst with the Princeton Policy Advisors firm Steven Kopits wrote recently,“The Biden administration now holds the record for the greatest number of fiscal year apprehensions at the southwest border in US history, 1.658 million versus 1.643 million in 2000.”
Thousands of these illegal immigrants were released into the U.S. and 400,000 more may have gotten into the country completely undetected.
Koptis predicted that by December, 2.1 million will have crossed the border this year, which is 500,000 more than any other year on record.
In his opinion, it may take a very long time to repair the damage done to the Democrat party by these disastrous policies.
“The administration’s open borders policy is an unmitigated disaster … repairing the political damage may take a decade or more,” Kopits wrote.
