President Joe Biden has found himself in a very precarious situation. The revelations about the canceled arms shipment to Ukraine ahead of Biden’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin have spurred ideas of impeachment among Republicans.
The Biden administration canceled a $100 million weapons package that would have served as a massive deterrent against Russian aggression.
Instead of supporting Ukraine and standing up to Putin’s expansion in Eastern Europe, Biden capitulated and left Ukraine exposed.
Breitbart’s Joel Pollok wrote that “If the allegation — reported by the Washington Post and confirmed by Politico — is true, then what Biden did is far worse than what Trump did in 2019, when he was accused of withholding military aid from Ukraine until it investigated Joe Biden for corruption.”
Impeachment isn’t an option right now as Democrats hold slim majorities in the House and the Senate. However, if Republicans can take power in 2022, they have what they need to impeach President Biden.
Former President Trump was impeached for less, and it would only be right to use the standards Democrats created. The evidence against Biden is monumental, and all Republicans have to do is wait.
