Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden just broke. He conveniently ‘forgot’ something else again, and this time it’s an especially big deal. But he can’t fool Americans into believing another lie.
During a campaign speech over the weekend, Biden inferred that he never promised to release a list of Supreme Court nominees, and also made a dishonest claim about the Trump campaign’s challenge that he produce a list.
“It’s no wonder the Trump campaign asked that I release the list only after she passed away,” said Biden, referring to the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. However, Trump called on Biden to release a list back in June and well beforehand.
Around that same time, Biden said, “We are putting together a list of African American women who are qualified and have the experience to be on the court. I am not going to release that until we go further down the line in vetting them as well.”
Biden rarely remembers what state he is in, so it shouldn’t be surprising that he can’t remember something he said nearly three months ago. But the fact remains that he is either lying or cognitive decline has really set in, making him incompetent either way.
The clock is ticking. There are less than 42 days until the November election and Biden still hasn’t released the list he promised, whereas Trump has released a huge list and is preparing to act on his third Supreme Court nomination.
