Former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign for the White House could be over. A major bombshell just dropped — his mic was hot and people are stunned by what he said.
During a campaign event in Iowa, Biden pushed back against the notion that we should see China as competition. He even said “we should be helping” and “we don’t need standing armies.”
Biden is attempting to draw a contrast with President Trump, who has insisted that China has been taking advantage of us for years. Trump is right and Biden is just playing politics.
Biden continued: “But the idea that China is going to eat our lunch, it was like I remembered debates in the late 90s, remember Japan was going to own us? Give me a break.”
Apparently, in his rush to bash Trump, he has forgotten that Japan and China are fundamentally different — with Japan being an actual ally and our relationship with China being spotty at best.
Biden’s most dangerous comment, however, raises serious concern for our national security. He said, “We don’t need standing armies, we need to be smarter,” which is a mind-boggling and contradictory statement.
