The federal judge ruling in the case of Jeffery Epstein’s alleged lover, handler and fixer, Ghislaine Maxwell, just handed the defendant some bad news.
He slammed Maxwell for misleading the court on her wealth and marriage.
“The defendant now argues that her newly revealed relationship with her spouse signals her deep affective ties in the country, but at the time she was arrested, she was not living with him and claimed to be getting divorced,” wrote US District Judge Alison Nathan.
Maxwell’s attorneys are arguing for her to be released on bond but the judge is refusing based on a “pattern of providing incomplete or erroneous information to the court or to pretrial services.”
