An operative for the Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump non-profit, said on Twitter Saturday that the group was compiling a database of Trump officials and staffers in order to try to blacklist them from further political service.
“At @ProjectLincoln we are constructing a database of Trump officials & staff that will detail their roles in the Trump administration & track where they are now,” Stuart Stevens wrote. “No personal info, only professional. But they will be held accountable & not allowed to pretend they were not involved.”
The Lincoln Project claims to be made up of Republicans, but is largely funded by Democrats and the left. The group campaigned against President Donald Trump and both Georgia Republican Senate runoff candidates, which tells you where their true sympathies are.
Fox News’ Brit Hume, hardly a conservative, weighed in on the database, saying, “This will not end well.”
