Pro-life activist groups marked the 48th anniversary of Roe v. Wade on Friday, vowing to keep fighting against more and more radical abortion laws including one in New Jersey that would make abortion legal even after birth if the baby survived the process.
Brandi Swindell, a pro-life figure with the Stanton Public Policy Center and Stanton Health Care clintics, said the movement embraces “the powerful words of civil rights activist and feminist Sojourner Truth when she stated, ‘Truth is powerful and it prevails.'”
“We will never be silent on the issue of abortion violence,” she continued. “Like Sojourner Truth, we believe truth will prevail over the horror of abortion.”
Swindell gathered with the Purple Sash Revolution at the Supreme Court on Friday in a peaceful demonstration.
Georgia Right to Life (GRTL) president Ricardo Davis probably said it best when he said ahead of a separate demonstration there, “No country that asks for God’s blessing can continue to tolerate and brazenly support this holocaust.”
