Iran just gave up. The rogue nation’s leaders are begging President Trump to have mercy. Once again, Democrats were wrong — Trump knew exactly how to make Iran surrender.
According to reports, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said, “We do not seek escalation or war.” He also announced that “Iran took and concluded proportionate measures in self-defense.”
In this particular case, you listen when the enemy speaks — and Zarif is clearly signaling that perhaps lobbing those missiles towards U.S. military bases in Iraq was a bad idea.
For his part, President Trump responded to Iran’s attack with a strong warning. “We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far!” he tweeted.
Iran is claiming that their little war game was in response to Trump’s order that successfully took out Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, but it appears they may have regretted this move.
Word of advice to America’s enemies: You don’t fire upon a U.S. military base unless you actually want the United States to “quickly & fully strike back,” as Trump said.
