Former MLB pitcher and broadcaster Curt Schilling, who is a conservative, said Tuesday on Twitter that AIG canceled his insurance because of posts he made on social media.
“We will be just fine, but wanted to let Americans know that @AIGinsurance canceled our insurance due to my ‘Social Media profile,’” Schilling tweeted.
Schilling shared a screen shot of an email about the decision, which said it was “a management decision that was made collectively between underwriting and marketing teams.”
“It’s real and I don’t imagine it’s even close to what we will witness in the coming months, years, if we let the Nazi’s win and the fraud is allowed to stand,” he went on.
Schilling said he had been an AIG customer since 2004.
