President Trump is polling at an all-time high in the crucial swing state of Wisconsin. As impeachment has been going down in flames, President Trump has been on the rise.
According to a Marquette Law School poll released Wednesday, Trump’s approval rating among registered voters in Wisconsin is sitting at 48%.
The poll also asked Wisconsin voters on their choice of the nominee in the Democrat primary.
Former Vice President Joe Biden was their first choice, with 23%. Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders came in second with 19%.
This is also good news for President Trump. A matchup against Joe Biden would be a dream come true for President Trump in 2020.
Meanwhile, a matchup against Bernie Sanders would be less ideal. Either way, the matchup may no longer matter as impeachment is providing Trump huge momentum heading into 2020.
