An impeachment bombshell just dropped. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has stunned Democrats — he didn’t hold back the truth and they can’t stand it.
“We’re going to see a lot of moralizing and a lot of really venting their hatred for Donald Trump,” said Cruz on Fox News this week, referring to the ongoing Senate trial and calling it out as “political theater.”
“In case you haven’t been paying attention the last four years, the Democrats really, really hate Donald Trump,” and that is all the trial is about. It has little to do with the Capitol riot that broke out on January 6.
Democrats have proven that through their hypocrisy. They claim Trump “incited” the riot, even though he gave a speech that very day, mere blocks from the Capitol, asking supporters to “peacefully and patriotically” protest.
House impeachment managers, led by Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), have also decried Trump’s “fight like hell” riot, but Swalwell himself has used the same line multiple times. So have several other Democrats.
All Americans watched in horror as a rogue group of protesters began rioting and resorted to violence. But Trump could not have predicted this event, nor was he aware of it possibly being planned, nor did he incite it.
