Former Vice President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has received a stunning notice. It was just announced to reporters and the news is spreading nationwide. Joe is panicking.
Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has signaled the possibility that Hunter Biden and other sought-after witnesses of Republican interest could testify before the Senate.
“We’ll be dealing with the witness issue at the appropriate time into the trial,” McConnell said, referring to President Trump’s upcoming impeachment trial. He made it clear that both sides will want to call witnesses.
“I think it’s certainly appropriate to point out that both sides would want to call witnesses that they wanted to hear from,” he said in response to a reporter’s question about Hunter Biden being called up.
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) was even more direct. Taking to Twitter, he made sure to send a message — Biden isn’t getting off the hook if Democrats are going to call witnesses forward.
“My colleagues can’t have it both ways. Calling for some, while blocking others. If we are going to give a platform to witnesses the Dems demand, I look forward to forcing votes to call Hunter Biden and many more!” he said.
