The Prosecutor General of Ukraine announced that the head of Burisma holdings, Nikolay Zlochevsky, was indicted for corruption last week and Hunter Biden was named as being involved in the corruption scheme, One America News Network reported.
The indictment was first reported by financial site Zero Hedge, but other media sites have claimed that the story was fake news and that there was no indictment.
The Ukrainian prosecutor did announce in October that 13 cases involving Burisma were being reviewed. A Reuters story also said that Ukraine has widened the investigation of Burisma to include embezzlement, but stopped short of saying the word indictment.
Alexander Dubinsky said that Biden was paid $16.5 million in money from criminal activity and money laundering.
Democrats have claimed that the Biden/Burisma investigation was nothing and that Trump was making it up to smear his political opponent.
