Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s second son, Hunter Biden, was just found guilty. He could be going down and his father’s presidential campaign right along with him. This is a stunning development.
“Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board cast a shadow over the work of those [Obama-era officials] advancing anti-corruption reforms in Ukraine,” noted a report from Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA).
While Hunter was serving on Burisma’s board of directors — for an exorbitantly high salary, no less — his father was spearheading the Obama administration’s policy on Ukraine, which presented a conflict of interest.
“Because the vice president’s son had a direct link to a corrupt company and its owner, State Department officials were required to maintain situational awareness of Hunter Biden’s association with Burisma,” the report continued.
The report noted the “awkwardness” U.S. officials were forced to work under while they pushed for “an anti-corruption agenda in Ukraine” while Hunter worked for “a company with a corrupt owner,” but nothing was ever done about it.
Instead of requesting that Hunter step down from Burisma, then-Vice President Joe Biden and the Obama administration looked the other way, even though it was highly detrimental to U.S. foreign policy. The Biden family must not be allowed back into the White House.
