Former Vice President Joe Biden’s embattled son, Hunter Biden, has fled the scene. He is on the run from a major court case, but he won’t be able to escape justice for long.
According to reports, Biden was a no-show for a court hearing in Batesville, Arkansas, related to his paternity case with Lunden Roberts. Biden’s high-profile attorney also unexpectedly quit.
Roberts, 28, is requesting $11,000 in legal fees from Biden and child support payments after it was reportedly confirmed via a DNA test that he is the father of her 16-month-old child.
The judge in the case has asked to see at least three years’ worth of tax returns from Biden to determine monetary support for Roberts and the child, even though he denies being the father.
However, in a suspicious move, Biden filed a Protective Order just before the hearing to keep his financial records private. If granted, this means they could not be disclosed publicly.
Former Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel, Biden’s now-former attorney, wrote in his request that “it is in the interest of justice and necessary for a Protective Order to be in place.”
