Hunter Biden represented a the chair of a major Chinese energy firm Ye Jianming in a deal to buy a Russian oil firm that had been sanctioned by the U.S., according to former business associate Tony Bobulinski.
Bobulinski said that he was asked to go into business with Hunter Biden and a Chinese government-run company on the capitalist side of the government, but he had to back out of the deal when he realized Hunter Biden was taking millions of dollars invested into the company for himself and his family.
Bobulinski also said he met with Joe Biden twice about the business, which directly contradicts Biden’s statements that he never had knowledge or involvement in his son’s deals.
Biden’s representation of Ye occurred during the time when Ye was planning to invest $10 million in Biden and Bobulinski’s new venture, Sinohawk.
The deal fell apart as the Chinese-run company was accused of corruption.
