The Cook Political Report said in its most recent findings that eight governor’s races have shifted toward Republicans, including Michigan and Wisconsin, which are currently led by Democrats.
Nevada, Maine, New Mexico, South Carolina, Oregon, and Iowa are the other states that have shifted toward Republicans.
Three states, Georgia, Massachusetts and New York, have moved toward Democrats, though New York was already likely Democrat at the time.
Some of the states are still toss-ups or lean Democrat, but have moved further toward GOP candidates in recent weeks.
It is still 11 months until the election, and primaries have not even yet been held in these races yet. Still, it shows the public moving right in many states as dissatisfaction with Democrats grows.
