The House is in full revolt and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is panicking. The anti-Trump politician won’t be able to hold it together much longer — his impeachment plan is about to fall apart in his hands.
Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) has challenged Schiff to bring Inspector General Michael Horowitz before the House Intelligence Committee to testify on his report. “We need to have a hearing,” said Nunes.
Speaking with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News, Nunes also said, “The longer this goes on, the longer it takes America to heal.” There is no word yet whether Schiff will do the right thing, but we shouldn’t hold our breath.
Schiff, who chairs the House Intelligence Committee, hasn’t conducted his business in an honorable way. It is why Nunes — a ranking member of the committee — repeatedly has to call him out.
Declaring the importance of holding “a hearing with IG Horowitz next week,” Nunes honed in on Horowitz’s findings, particularly where the report notes “significant inaccuracies and omissions.”
As Americans know, Trump staffer Carter Page was spied on by the FBI after obtaining a warrant from the FISA court. There is now strong evidence to suggest that the FBI’s warrant request withheld vital information.
