Ken Osmond, who played the iconic Eddie Haskell on the 1950s series Leave It to Beaver, died Monday at age 76 in Los Angeles.
No cause of death was given, according to Osmond’s family who reported his death.
Osmond’s character Eddie Haskell appeared on 100 episodes of Beaver, even though his character was originally intended for just one episode.
After playing Haskell, though, it was nearly impossible for Osmond to get other roles.
He remained friends with Tony Dow, who played best friend Wally Beaver on the show. “He was a terrific guy, he was a terrific actor and his character is probably one that will last forever,” Dow told The Associated Press on Monday.
