Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton tweeted at President Donald Trump on Friday to criticize him for not conceding to the media’s chosen winner, Joe Biden.
“Protecting one man’s ego is not worth damaging the legitimacy of our democracy,” she wrote.
First of all, Clinton never conceded the 2016 election directly, but instead had her campaign staffer make an announcement for her.
And second, she said later that she regretted her campaign conceding and told Biden that he should not concede the 2020 election “under any circimstances.” But when the shoe is on the other foot, it’s a different story for her, apparently.
At the prospect of a Joe Biden presidency, Clinton said, “I am feeling better than I have felt in four years.”
