Hillary Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook revealed in his testimony at the Michael Sussman trial this week that the presidential candidate herself had approved leaking allegations to the media about Donald Trump’s connection to Russia-owned Alpha Bank.
The connection between Trump and Alpha Bank turned out to be a bust just like all the other alleged evidence of Trump-Russia collusion.
In fact, Clinton and her campaign officials considered the information too “shaky” to send to the FBI.
Mook said he figured the press would investigate the allegations before publishing them, but since when have they done that in regards to a Republican candidate?
It will be interesting to see what Durham does with the information, and where his investigation goes next.
