Pollsters are warning that election day predictions and polls will likely be inaccurate due to “shy” Trump voters coming out to vote just like in 2016.
Back in 2016 President Trump shocked the world by crushing Hillary Clinton thanks to the “silent majority” of politically inactive voters who came out in force to elect him. Pollsters are now cautioning that those same voters may come out stronger than before.
Robert Cahaly, chief pollster with the Trafalgar Group said, “We live in a country where people will lie to their accountant, they’ll lie to their doctor, they’ll lie to their priest, and we’re supposed to believe they shed all of that when they get on the telephone with a stranger?”
Democrats and the left have spent the last four years demonizing President Trump and his supporters and anyone who would even consider supporting Trump. It is no wonder the “silent majority” is hard to account for.
Cahaly continued saying, “In 2016, the worst being said about Trump voters is that they were ‘deplorable.’ 2020 is a whole different ballgame. It is worse this time—significantly worse.”
Democrats may come to regret alienating millions of Americans in key swing states as President Trump won’t need to win the popular vote to gain another four years. President Trump is following the same blueprint as he did in 2016 and it is likely to be successful.
